I support businesses with social media content, strategy and management—and like many growing businesses, I reached a point where I needed to bring in support, to free up time to work on the business, not in it.

 

That’s when I found Vixa. I knew I needed support, but I also knew I didn’t have the time to manage the hiring process properly. Thankfully, Jack at Vixa took care of everything with a level of professionalism and detail that exceeded my expectations.

 

I’ll admit, I was initially worried about the time difference and whether there might be a language barrier—but there’s been absolutely no issue with either. My VA’s written and spoken English is excellent, and we work seamlessly together.

 

The onboarding process was incredibly thorough. Jack didn’t just post a generic job advert—they wrote a detailed, role-specific ad that also doubled as a skills test. They completed English tests that assessed spelling, comprehension and communication, and (for my needs) a Canva design test too. All applicants were required to show proof of internet speed, and every application was vetted and scored out of 10 before it even reached me.

 

Jack handled it all—he helped shortlist candidates, provided tailored interview questions, booked the interviews, and completed all the onboarding admin behind the scenes in just one day! I had my interviews on a Friday, there was a weekend and a bank holiday, and my VA was ready to start on the Tuesday.

 

Since then, a WhatsApp group has been set up so I can reach Jack any time if I need extra support—and I’ve had total peace of mind throughout. The whole service has been smooth, professional, and far better than I ever imagined. My VA is excellent: efficient, skilled, and proactive. After just one week of working together, I’m already planning to increase her hours.
